Marmedsa Noatum Maritime is proud to announce that following the aim of increasing our RSC activities, last 21st of October, Marítima del Mediterráneo, Combalia Agencia Marítima, Universal Global Logistics and Elite Spain Logistics officially joined the Port of Barcelona Sustainability programme.
Marmedsa Noatum Maritime, who was already member of the task force of the programme, started last February working on the definition of the strategy together with the main stakeholders of the Port Community, as well as identifying the KPI’s to monitor its evolution.
The Sustainability programme was presented last 18 October by Port of Barcelona, who explained how it will be developed and how each company will take part of it.
The project is based on the criteria of the Global Reporting Initiative (GRI). Given that a set of indicators have been defined by the Program to measure the degree of response which is prone to each group’s expectations as a Port Community, those indicators will be structured additionally in the sustainability report.
