Noatum will join the humanitarian efforts helping Ukraine on a partnership with the NGO Save the Children
We have all been closely followed the current situation in Ukraine and are aware of the humanitarian crisis taking place in this region. After balancing the different options available and finding a cause we could align our interests with, with have decided to join forces with Save the Children, with the aim of rising funds to help the most vulnerable and affected by this situation: the children and their families.
Noatum group has already contributed with financial support to this cause and will double the raised amount at the end of the campaign.
With the efforts of the volunteers, working in Ukraine and neighboring borders, we will be able to provide:
- Distribution of basic needs like hygiene kits and protection against the cold and COVID-19.
- Psychological and psycho-emotional help for the children and their families.
- Cash transfers for families without resources to cover basic needs, such as food, water, clothes and medicine.
- Generate a reception network on the borders of nearby countries, such as Poland, Lithuania or Romania, where we have already seen the opening of two camps for Ukrainian refugees.
- Ensuring education is not interrupted.
- Child protection to prevent family separation during displacement and the creation of safe spaces for children.
We encourage all our colleagues, partners and clients to join these charitable actions and help as much as we can to ease the difficult situation going on in Ukraine.
