Noatum Group, Business Trajectory Award at the 5th Port of Castellón Lighthouse Awards
The Port Authority of Castellón has awarded the Noatum Group the Business Trajectory Award in the fifth Lighthouse Awards, as recognition for our company that has been present in the Port of Castellón since 1940, and has evolved to become a leading multinational group in maritime, logistics and port operations services with specialized solutions for the main industrial sectors.
The panel of judges that selected the candidatures, ratified by the Board of Directors of the Port Authority of Castellón, consisted of more than 50 people from different fields and selected on a parity basis. Due to the Covid-19 pandemic, the awards ceremony will be held virtually, and will be broadcast on November 27th on the organisations’ social networks.
Some videos of the awards ceremony have already been published, such as this one that shows the moment when the President of the Port Authority of Castellón, Rafa Simó, presents the award to Antonio Campoy, CEO of Noatum.
According to Antonio Campoy, “Noatum is committed to this port and we are making it a model to be followed in other ports. It is the result of a joint effort between the Port Authority and Noatum, as an operator to offer services to industries and economic activities in Castellón. […] The future is yet to be written, and we are going to write it together, with the Port Authority”.
We would like to thank the Port Authority of Castellón for awarding us this prize for our business history. We feel particularly honoured, because Castellón is one of the ports where we have been working for the longest as a company. We would also like to thank our partners, including Algeposa and Fertinagro Biotech, for giving us their support. And finally, we would like to thank all the people at Noatum who have contributed with their effort and dedication to the growth of our business in Castellón over 80 years. It is because of you that this recognition has been possible.
