The Port of Barcelona handed over the Efficiency Network awards during the 5th Anniversary of the quality label
Marmedsa Noatum Maritime received two recognitions. The first award was to Cristina Perez Just, Technician of the Quality & Social Accountability department, on the category of «People, key factor». This award was given to Cristina Perez for its implication, development and consolidation of the Efficiency Network quality label during the last years.
The jury took into account her outstanding job at Marmedsa Noatum Maritime to ensure the standards of the compliance label, as well as her proactivity in organizing internal training sessions to pass on the values and requirements of the certification. She also elaborated the internal manual and collaborated with the IT department to automate as much as possible the identification of indicators to measure the compliance of the label without waiting for the regular audit of Efficiency Network. She has been, day by day, one of the best representatives of the label.
The other recognition was to Universal Global Logistics who received an Honorable Mention for being one of the first 16 companies to obtain the certification.
The ceremony, which took place last week in Barcelona, was conducted by the President of Port of Barcelona, Sixte Cambre, and the General Manager of Transport and Mobility of the Catalan Government, Pere Padrosa.
Efficiency Network is the quality label for operators specializing in containerized goods (companies and administrations) that work in the Port of Barcelona and that are committed to providing reliability and safety to their customers.
