Noatum Logistics, the logistics division of Noatum Maritime, has appointed Sergi Puig as the new director of the Barcelona office, reporting directly to Tony Tintoré, general manager of Noatum Logistics in Spain.
Sergi Puig, who has more than 15 years of experience in the sector, joined Noatum Logistics in April 2012 as Industry Development Manager Industry Development Manager Fashion & Retailand his main tasks were to identify new business development opportunities in the fashion sector and among other distributors.
In January 2017, he took over asInternational Network Manager with the goal of strengthening and creating a robust and active network of agents in strategic countries, thereby improving the company’s positioning at an international level.
Puig began his career in 1999 at Maersk Logistics, where he held various positions.
Puig has a Master’s Degree in Integrated Logistics (Supply Chain Management) from ICIL (Barcelona), and has taken a Programme in Management Development at Esade (Barcelona), in addition to receiving advanced level technical training in International Trade at the CIC (Barcelona), and other technical training in Business Logistics and in Transport Management and Administration at ICIL (Barcelona).
