Beatriz Garcia, UGL Madrid Branch Manager, explained how Big Data provide better efficiency to the logistics sector
Universal Global Logistics (UGL), which is part of Noatum Logistics, was invited by Capital Radio to a programme about Big Data to talk about its use and application in the logistics sector, one of the areas where more data is generated.
Beatriz Garcia, UGL Madrid Branch Manager, highlighted how Big Data provides better efficiency, agility and flexibility to supply chain management through the optimization of processes. As a logistics company, UGL works with a large amount of data which is used in order to better allocate internal resources and better adjust to the client’s demands.
The programme presented by Luis Vicente Muñoz, journalist and director of Capital Radio, also counted on the participation of Esther Morales, Big Data Business Development Manager of PiperLab; Ramon García, Innovation and Projects Manager of the Spanish Logistics Center (CEL), and Julio Rodríguez, from Avanda Consultores.
